get Lincoln Mk VII calipers, they have 73mm pistons and will bolt up. also, go to a shop that only does brakes, ask for wheel cylinders with a slightly larger piston, these 2 things should cost under $200 and will help out

Lincoln and '90+ Tbirds rear kits should do....if you have problems braking you might also check into the possibility of replacing the front/rear rubber brake hoses for braided ones.....they do make a difference.

RE: IS THERE DISC BRAKES FOR 4-LUG?
I got a rear disc kit for a 4 lug stang and it fits with the stock axle length.(Ford used a longer axle shaft with the Cobras and the T-birds) not sure who's it is but it uses Ford stuff and some spacer. I cant use it due to the fact that my car is 5 lug. Ill take $400 for it if someone wants it. You would need a Cobra master and need to take the restrictor out of the proportioning valve. also the Cobra use a single brake line for the front brakes where the 87-93 Fox cars run 2 lines off the master for the front brakes and one for the rear. Also 93 Cobras had rear disc and they were 4 lug now the 93 Cobra -R 107 ever built had 5 lug wheels I am pretty sure.

P.S. Grabbem88..... Ask for '89 crown vic front calipers; with the police package. They are 73mm with a steel cup versus the '86 SVO 73mm phonelic cup(they dryrot, crumble\deteriorate). Direct bolt-on with a new set of the crown vic pads. Mustang pads can be used with a little creative adapting; but the inner pad retainer is not big enough to keep "snug" in the larger piston bore.
Of course i have the 87-88 Turbo T-bird rear disc conversion as well......
