Default is this a bad idea?

Is it a bad idea to put a 4 cyl t5 in my 5.0?? Will i pretty much just eat it up or will it last for a lil while? I need a new 5sp but dont have a fortune to spend on a brand new one. Dont suppose anyone has one for sale? Also, are they a b!tch to rebuild or is it something i could do?

As long as you don't power shift it from every stop light and dump the clutch all the time it should hold up until you can get a better tranny.

It's as strong as the older T-5's (non-world class [pre 90 or 91?]) so it should hold up fine for awhile.
