Shifting Hard???

What does it mean when my 90 GT manual starts to get harder to shift? It's not too bad but not as smooth as it was.

clutch could be getting bad or clutch cable.

mine definately is like that, im about to order a steeda adjustable clutch cable. thats what my buddy told me and hes been working on cars for a very long time. i'd invest in either a stock cable or a steeda.
