Ok..i dont even have the car yet but i have been looking around. I have been looking at the 5.0 hatchback GT.
What is a good year to start out with? The year varies between a 91 and a 93. I know close to nothing about the car but all I know is that for a little bit of money, you get a lot of speed and head turning. My friend has and 89 notchback, and he is the one that got me into the whole mustang thing. What should i start out with?

Why 91 to 93? If you plan on doing major mods than you can go with a 89-93. But I dont like 93's becuase they are not forged. 87-88 did not come with Mass Air but if you dont plan on modding it heavily than it doesnt matter what you get. Through 89-92 there arent any real differences between them besides the fact that 91+ fenders are bigger (fit more wheel/tire) and maybe some other small differences.

I looked specifically for an 89. Why? 1st year of mass air and last year no air bag.
