Default engines and stuff

I just bought a 1990 GT vert... and I am wondering what kinds of engines have been / are being put into these cars to upgrade the 5.0. What can be shoehorned into the F-body 'stangs? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks guys (and gals)...

People bore them to 306's, stroke them to 331's & 347's. And if you are really smart you will not even bother with it and get a 351W

You'd be surprised how fast you can go with that little 302.

^+1 But IMO if you are going to stroke it to a 347 you should just go with a 351W.

you can get 302 stroked out to 331 or 347

you can get 351 and stroke it out to 408 or 427 but
you will have to get a raised cowl hood to get it
to fit.

those engine from stock to fully blown 427 will give you
any where from 200rwhp - 600+rwhp and run anywhere from
$2,000-$15,000+
