Mines gutted, no bumpers ( save the "safety" remarks to yourself ), just front carpet, no visors, no rear interior panels, aluminum fan, alum heads, fiberglass hood, no w/s washer bottle, no heater core or lines, plastic seats. It does have a 8pt bar and I have the 10 pt conversion to add to it though.

Well Ive had it weighed twice cause I didnt believe it. bone stock it weighed in at 3150 with me in it, the way it sits now, 3150 without me in it but a full tank of gas...guess I got hosed with this notch

My car is a pig...3615 without a driver. It is an 93 LX conv. With all the chassis stiffening and the cage it feels like a tank...but an tank that can consistently run high 10's. If I had the guts to strip it down I would shoot for 9's...but I like my a/c. and interior. Some day I'll take out the passenger seat, pull the rear seat, take off some panels etc and make a one time trip to the track to try and get the best slip I can get...then the tools and putting it back together.

mine goes like 3380ish without me and with a box of subs. i could prolly get it down to 3300 without having to strip it. thats not too bad for an sn i dont reckon. it says 3131 in the door but a think thats empty weight, right? without anything in it at all seats or anything.,

in stock trim last year i was shy under 2950 with no interior minus front carpet dash and two seats, no front swaybar, no power options, no smog or a/c, still had 7.5' rear end that might have made it a lil lighter. also remember this is a carb car.
now the car has to be really light, fuel cell, interior is the same, suspension components are a tid bit lighter, front runners, fiberglass hood, ALOT of useless wiring/smog crap done away with, spool, no bumper supports, still has iron heads, carb and intake are lighter then old junk, no whiper motor, no heater box, as well as other things. soon to have a fiberglass hatch and lexan rear window as well and maybe fiberglass doors if i wanan go thru the trouble.
i will find this thread and post what the car weighs when i scale it again in a few weeks.
