Phenolic Intake Spacer?

I am thinking about installing a 1" spacer on Trick Flow track heat intake and was wondering if the increased runner length would hurt performance?

NO. It's supposed to help performance. Someting about having a strong and cooler air charge.

it does 2 things 1. helps keep heat off the upper intake for a slightly cooler charge of income air 2. it will move your RPM range of the intake about 100 rpms upward and if that's your combo in your sig will help your engine

I had a street heat intake with the 1" spacer on my 347 and it was starving for air. So I got a track heat to help it breath. I'll try the spacer with this set up and see how it goes.

i always thought longer runners made more down low power and tourque,m shorter runner design mad higher rpm hp. i could be wrong though.
