Whats the name of the piece that holds door rod to lock
My drivers side door lock wasnt working. It just spun freely. So I took off the panel and found out that it wasnt connected to the rod that controls the locking mechanism. I held the rod on with my hand and had a second person test it out and it worked fine. Me and my dad took a washer, cut a small portion of the washer and used it has a lock washer sort of thing. This worked great for about 2 weeks, but I think it fell off and I think I should do it right this time. The problem is I have no clue what the name of that tiny little piece is.
Thanks

I'd imagine it would look something like that. How does that stay in place? And also what is the name/part number?

It hooks through the latch or w/e the part is that the rod goes through and then it flips down over the rod. Not sure about the correct terminology but I've always called them a "lock rod clip" Search 50 resto or the dealer for it.

my pass. side is jacked up too. Everytime the door is opened i have to have the passenger click the bottom tooth thing up one notch... kinda sucks, not too hard to replace but just haven't gotten to it. If it were the drivers side I'd have had it done ages ago
