Default hey you

Can I take the 2 vac lines you see here and just run them to each other to bypass the smog crap? If so can I still leave the pump on and remove the big vac lines and cap the h pipe and the heads? Reason im asking is with my new headers and hpipe the smog line coming from the hpipe that runs by the headers is touching them and im sure it will melt them..

What I did was I took the two lines out of the 5 pin vacuum splitter thinger on the inside of the fender (just pull hard, they will come out) and plugged the holes where they used to be with epoxy. Nice clean finish and will never have a problem.
