yea the electric water pump would be a great idea, but why shut it off?

what the hell kind of good would it do to shut off an electric water pump. that just sounds like you dont know wtf your talking about. the draw from an electric water pump is minimal at best, and its ALREADY an improvement over a belt driven system...
he would see NO difference at all from shutting off an electric water pump.
also, how is shutting the alternator off gonna change anything??!?
its still spinning!

Electric water pump might be right up your alley too, and a switch for the alternator.

shutting off the alt. will keep the draw down on the motor when it is charging it takes more H/P to turn a alt. when it is charging then to just spin it. put a set of jumper cables on a car that has a dead battery and see how much the alt. will draw down your motor then unhook them once it is a good bit. but I will need to make sure that the battery has a good charge in it be for I run so the EEC work proper

If you are looking for one 10 second run, just take your belt off completly. Then do the run, then when it gets back, put the belt back on it. Saw alot of people do that down at island and they gained 1 tenth. do that and take your seat out you should see 10s
