I can't remember the instructions for putting it in the gas tank, but the directions on the can are pretty straightfoward. I believe you just dump in a certain amounts, and have at it.

There are no directions... POUR IN... let it sit for a certain period of time (it says on the back of the bottle) and than start your car up and let it come out. It works great... Ive used it on my Intrepid, my Jimmy, a friends Jeep and a friends Camaro.

on a carb I just pulled a small vac line and put it in the can and had my wife to feather the gas to keep it running for a few sec..
