Default 5.0 differences

I am new to the forum, I have a 1987 GT with no motor or trans. I have bought a 5.0 and a tremec out of a 1995 GT, does anyone know what problems I will run into putting that motor in the car? If anyone can help me it would be great!

same engine, funny dog leg intake on the intake manifold
only difference in 94-95 5.0's.

Just use a computer and wire harness from 94-95 stang too.

87's were set-up for speed density computers, 89 and new are mass air.

make sure you use new motor AND trans mounts.

i think 87 only had 7.5" axle too. ( could be wrong )

1985 was the last year for the 7.5 rears for the V8's. 1986 is when they went to the 8.8

You'll want a different intake anyway when you start modding, but go w/ a fox computer, A9P or A9L.....

put a regular 87-93 intake on it whether its aftermarket or not.

also those motors have hyperuetectic pistons so dont spray it.
