what do i need to make an 85 mustang EFI. any help would be great

more technical knowledge than you have if your asking what itll take...

however ill take a stab at answering it for you!

You will need:
Upper and lower intake manifold
new fuel lines
new fuel pump (in tank)
8 injectors
fuel rail
a bunch of wiring
a EFI computer
MAF
TB
IAC, TPS etc etc
basically alot of stuff and youll be unhappy with the amount of money youll have to put into it to get it going.

i just needed to know the computer area of it, not the engine.

it really wouldnt be that expensive. i converted my 86 4 cylinder to all 88 EFI. find a parts car and you will be able to do it with ease. just swap over from the parts car.

yea its a 6 banger, its also an 86 i just cant type, thats why i wanted to know what computer stuff i would need.

well it wont need E test, wel i duno about where you are but in canada if its 20 years old you dont need it. it will certify no problem if you do everything properly. i cudnt get mine cert bc my front bumper and **** is cracked. a few small things. i got one though.
if you do it take ur time. id say get a parts car. you need to get a tank from a fuel injected car. run all the wires, put in the F/P relay under the drivers seat. I changed my dash to an 88 because i dont think the computer will come on if you dont. computer goes into pass. side kick panel, there is a hole in the firewall for the harness. lots of work, I honestly wouldnt do it unless you have a parts car.
