Power Window Motor Removal
I have to remove my power window motor because it's punched it's last ticket. I have the door panel off and the speaker out. It's the driver's side door. It's getting hot and I can't open the window, I need to remove the corpse of this old mtoro to replace it. I need help....help....

you sure its the motor? have you tested it? could be the switch or a fuse.

its easy to run jumpers from your batt to the switch. a wire from + and a wire from -. unplug the motor relay and touch the 2 prongs with the wires. if it dont go up and down its the motor. easier to check it first before you take it out.

Yeah I gotta change that, well have it rebuilt. I guess I'll just drill those rivets out.

Dont do that. If its just the motor is held in by 3 screws. Take those 3 gold screws loose, un hook the motor and then work it down through the speaker hole.
