Default cats on 95 quick ?

Well im a pretty poor guy, because of this im thinking im just wanting to cut off my stock cats and weld in new piping. so what kinds of issues is this going to pose or is this just stupid and a bad idea?

ummm well hoping it would change the tone of exhaust maybe deeper/louder or better airflow?

Well I dont have cats on mine. I never really felt any more power but you really smell like exhaust all the time.

why would u smell exhaust and did u cut em out or buy new o/r pipes?
