I have a question im looking to get an exhaust for my stang which system would give me the best sound while giving the best preformance????????

I like the flowmaster super 40's and 40 series.


My stang is a 95

everyone is going to have a different opinion about what exhaust sounds the best. Dont buy an exhaust based on performance gains, get something you like the sound of. Any gains u get from exhaust will be too minimal to make a difference.

what sounds good to you may be fully differant than what sounds good for me. as for preformance go with off road pipes

i never run anyones kit. I fab it up myself and usually run flowmaster one chambers. i also like the dynomax race magnum bullets.

Magnaflows are quiet. Magnapacks are loud, sound real nice,
Flowmasters are deep, not too loud, annoying drone, and craps out above 2500 rpm.
MAC is very dep, decent volume, has drone just like flows, although not as bad.
SLP sounds amazing on 5.0's, my best friend has it on his 95. Sounds awesome. Is loud though, but with stock midpipe, you should be fine.
Bassani is very expensive, sounds real deep.
And the only good Borla is the stingers, but those are only made for 99+.

I disagree that Flowmasters crap out above 2500 RPM. Also they do drone sort of, but I don't really think that it's annoying. Like was said, everyone has their preference.

Yes, some think drone is annoying, others don't, I personally didn't mind it on my buddy's car, but when we switched to the SLP, and there was no drone, it was awesome.

And on his car, with an O/R H, once you hit around 2500 rpm, the flowmasters like stopped making noise. It sucked.
