Try bumping the timing, my friend had the same problem. He just bumped the timing( I think to 10).

Its an sn-95 thing. Once you get all of the modifications you want, go get it dyno tuned, and they will burn a chip for you, to match your cam, heads, ect. Sn-95 computers are messed up, and require a lot of tuning.

I have an E303 and my car does the same thing though only 600 -1200 for probably 1-2 minutes. I haven't had it tuned yet Let me know what you find. Sorry I don't have a solution-
