Default No Bottom End

Ok, my mustang as it currently sits seems to have a huge bottom end decrease in power..

I know the 150,000 miles has something to do with this but want a low cost bolt on.
I CANT EVEN PEEL OUT! [] Ha.

(kind of post-whoring right now but new to the sight, have a lot of questions)

Haha, naw, kept it lightweight.
I guess the car not being able to peel out could come in useful when racing it, but its annoying to go full throttle and feel like a 6 cyl, then i hit about 30 mph and car kicks in.

I was thinking about gears but im 16, dads only response is "why do you need to go fast" ha. Also, heard they put the gas mileage to about 12 mpg..ouch.

I stopped on a wet road today with friends and said im gonna peel out, car took off, driver..embarassed. Ha.

Ya but it doesnt feel like "traction" cuz it stays that way for so long..

Could also be the tires, not sure what is on these new rims, whatever is stock on the 99 Cobra's I guess.

I'm not sure a stock 94gt will burn out... I drove a few and they seem a little weak, at least compared to a fox. I just wouldn't aim to burn out, only worry when you think your not making the power you should be, then start trouble shooting. Check up on your ignition for a good spark, that could be hurting your power..

Ya not really a big priority of mine. Just concerned. I have new plugs and wires, if that affects anything.

Thanks for your help though.

also with 150k your compresion probably isn't fantastic. Go through and do a whole tuneup, distributor cap/rotor, fuel filter, air filter, get some Techron fuel injector cleaner (comes in a black bottle), oil change, try 20W-50, that might help it run a little smoother too.
