3 grand? i think more! alot of turbo kits run around 4000. are you going single or twin? IMO id go twin.. spools quicker, less lag on turbos, and alot less stress on the turbos as well.

Either way, single or twin, that fox is gonna be crayzy fast.!! haha

LAG with a single turbo is so over rated, as long as it is sized for the motor right u will be a ok. Way to go congrats on the stroker. wish i had money to blow

Wow 2.5 grand? Could of rebuilt your own 302 with that much.

BTW It doesnt come with heads?

Also that Motor says it come 10:1 Compression which is kinda scary if your planning on running boost. But I wish you the best. I want a 331 I hate you.

haha i wish i had money to blow too tim

as for the turbo, turbo lag can suck it. i'm not doing a twin turbo setup, that would just make me pee my pants. I was thinkin about a Garrett off a Duramax diesel in the 2500HD chevy's. I can get them for like 200 for just the turbo. Ican probably do all the plumbing. and i can buy an intercooler. they're good for 24 lbs of boost, i think thats enough for me

yeah i could have rebuilt mine for 2.5 but this is a brand new block. mine is going to need some attention before it could even be considered. and i dont have the time to pull it and build it and be without a car for that long. if i had a car for downtime I'd probably do it that way. and yeah the 10:1 compression bothers me but that is going to change as soon as i figure out how haha. i'm still looking for heads, and that will play a big part in the compression ratio. HOLY **** THE ROYALS WON!? anyways, tim, why are you saying no!?

oh yeah. i dunno if it was you looking at spec clutches or not but let me tell you all a story. I was helpin pull a tranny out of a GTO today. it had a stage 3 spec in it with an aluminum fly wheel. If you dont know, aluminum flywheels have the teeth pressed onto them instead of welded, or being one piece. anyways. the guy was racing saturday, and tooth ring broke, like, cracked in one spot and came off the fly wheel a little bit. on the back of the LS2's theres a cover bolted on with 8 mm bolts. the tooth ring hit the bolt and broke out about an inch long, half inch wide piece of metal that went around the bolt. it caused an oil leak from the engine and the oil got all over the clutch and in the bell housing and everything. The dumbass though he was gonna get his engine warrantied. when we took the flywheel off, the tooth ring fell off of the flywheel, it was sweet.
