Default MAF/injectors

I just installed a 5 psi Vortech supercharger and the next day noticed my lower intake manifold gasket is leaking. So I ordered a Trick Flow upper/lower intake, since the intake has to come off anyway. So I might do injectors now as well.

My question is this. To do 24lb. injectors, I need to increase the tube size accordingly in my MAF, but someone told me I need to get a new plate in my FMU from Vortech, or get a new computer chip burned.

Any thoughts?

Im not to good with s/c's but here it goes. I thought the FMU u need depends on the ammoun of boost you run not the injector size. Yes u need to change the sample tube in the maf, im not sure about the chip.

I was talking to some guys in our lcoal speed shop and they kept talking about changing a chip/plate in the VMU, but I'm not sure what this is. I thought they were talking about the FMU that I installed when I put in the sc.

Thanks

Not sure, edit your title and put something like (FMU for vortech help) you might get more help that way.

I just need to get an answer about if I get injectors, do I need to get a chip burned and/or get the appropriate plate in the Vortech FMU, is what I think the guys at the speed shop were talking about. I know I need to get the correct tube for the MAF.

I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Thanks again.
