I wouldn't dump my A/C, but then agian, I am in TX. If any of you guys have time, take pics of the smog removal. I'd like to see what's involved before I tackle it. I've heard it's easy.....

aha it's easy, 4 bolts and it was out, two for the piping, two for the pump, then just thread in i think it was a 5/8 coarse thread bolt where the pipe used to bolt to the head, did it in a matter of about 15 minutes

You don't need to buy those delete kits. These are the easiest $20 upgrade you will ever spend. and you will notice the difference beside the smell of the exhaust(especially if you have turndowns).
ive been sayin that for the past week! and the exhaust smell. man. i have my pipes cut at the mufflers with no cats and no pump. the inside of my car is like a CO2 room. smells bad but...if you drive fast enough you dont notice!

Here's a few pics of my re-routed belt, minus smog, which is LONGER not shorter like most people say it is, than the stock belt, almost 10 inches longer. W/ A/C still.

Nope, never modded anything, everything's stock, just a 92 inch belt I believe it was, or 91 1/2... think it was 92

Haha tensioner pulley still has the sticker on it.. just noticed that in the pic

thats wierd i think mine faces the other way. maybe it doesnt and i just think it does. so you had to get a longer belt? are your pulleys stock size? when i did mine i had to get a smaller belt, but i have underdrive pulleys, and a small alternator pulley and i think its routed different too..
