My car is always kept in the garage and its never real cold around here (Cali) But anyways your saying I dont have to let it idle for a bit? Even with a Supercharger?

I start mine up and go. The only time I let mine warm up is when its cold outside I let it idle for 10-20 minutes until I have heat.

driving it hard when cold can also cause piston slap on forged pistons (pre 93).

I wait until it idles down, and then drive normally...I don't really get on it until the temp starts to come up to normal though.

same here, as long as you have oil pressure it is all good,
unless you are using a turbocharger. turbos need to be warmed up, and cooled down or they can seize up

a fuel injected car doesnt really need to "warm up" . I start mine and leave. i'll take it up to 4 grand in 3rd gear int he first 5 minutes of driving it every morning (usually cause I over slept and about to be late to work) once your fast idle kicks down and you hit base idle and it holds steady, you're good to go.
