So, with the new heater core in w/ new hoses im overheating. it was the same amount of heat that my old one produced so... my thermostat is bad, or the system is plugged right?
could anything else be going wrong?

RE: Hot
I would say airlock, because if it didn't do it before, there's no reason why it should do it after the heater core,it just happed to me when I replaced my water pump,I only let it run for a few minites, and it was HOT,until I figured it out..

RE: Hot
U know it can not be a complete air lock because a temp sensor will not read anything without coolant/water. ither u only have a lil bit of coolant in the motor.Fix would be add more coolant, or your thermo is locked up and you only have whats in the motor.
