Is this possible? I want to conver my 5.0L TFI distributor to use in my 351W.. can I take the shaft from the 351 distributor (with remote module) and install in the 5.0L distributor with integral module and use it in my 351? (The purpose is to do away with the remote ignition module)

Basically, my question is will the longer 351 distributor shaft fit into a 5.0L TFI distributor body...
Anybody ever attemped such foolishness?

Yea, I talked with them yesterday... they said just to get a 351 TFI dist from an 88-90 truck... it's got the module built in already... I think I can just change the module from the existing 5.0 dist and install it on the 351 dist and it'll be fine...

I might have been making a mountain from a molehill... on the other hand... my friend gave me a set of new coated long tube hooker headers for my car.. not sure if they'll fit yet... but I'm sure gonna check 'em...
