Default very hard start this morning

had a hard time starting this morning

it cranked over fine but wanted to die.. i just kept the key engaged and waited for the car to idle properly. it idled ok but usually on the first start it idles at 1000 rpm's and drops down to 800 rpm's. this time it just sat at like 6-700 rpm's and didnt climb. i let it idle for a bit and then i gave it some gas and got the idle up to 800 again.

like i said car felt like it wanted to die but it didnt, holds an idle all day long no problem but just didnt sound or feel right.

if it helps any, it has been raining here 4+ days straight with daily flooding (i hate new england)

oh it fires right up no problem

when u say spray it in the throttle u mean take off the CAI (including MAF) and spray it in the throttle body or leave it all on and just spray around it? i dont think i have a vaccum leak cause the car runs pretty good.

yup,,,, spray it into throttle body. when you take the stuff off ,,leave the MAF wire connected to the sensor so check engine light doesnt come on. yull need someone to spray it in while your trying to start it.

well im repainting the car a silver matalic green from a 98 SAAB. before i put the motor in i sprayed the engine compartment but i havent had a chance to do yhe rest of the body yet. i put my hand through a glass window and severed 2 tendons, nerves, and cut an artery. So.... im out of work for like 4 weeks. Im a tech at a dealership and its not EZ with one hand. So i decided to help as much as possible on here. The purple was kinda a joke. I built race engines for a while at a vintage race shop and we did this guys motor block purple. He hated it and came back with black paint and sprayed over it. It was funny....so i said ill do my next motor purple. i sprayed the block and i liked it so much i used in other places too. I dig it with the green.
