Dont drive in rain?

Just put factory Air box in for the winter. Its not like your going to get any traction if you step on it.

^^^That's what I'm saying.....It's already hit high 90's several times, starting last month..[:@]

Unless you're driving thru massive puddles, you shouldn't be sucking up too much water, if any at all. Your CAI does pull air thru the bottom of the fender, but it's a big opening, so it's not like there's any suction to pull water in....

I have an AutoX car with Forced Induction. AT 20 PSI boost I've never sucked up rain... just spun the tires. My CAI rides 2" off the ground. At best your filter may get some mist. You not only have to completely submberge the assembly past the air filter (since water seeks its own level - you can't suck water through a straw unless it's submerged) but you also have to be pushing some serious vac/boost in order to suck any water in through your intake. No worries.

ORIGINAL: Twisted

I really don't think a puddle is going to harm your motor, unless it is deep enough to completely submerge the CAI.
+1, just won't make it through the filter let alone up to the intake.
