Used mustangs are on nearly every corner in the USA, google is your friend. I dont know what year or what your looking for in general so I couldnt comment on the good or bad for any particular year,

I guess i've only used google for finding sites with classifieds. I'm searching specifics now. BTW im looking for an 87-93 with a 5.0 and a 5 speed.

well ill be honest, i was hunting for camaros before i ever gave in to the mustang

i was a pure chevy guy (used to own an old monte carlo)

it was summer, i needed a new car.. i wanted a sports car. never owned or even driven one in my life (i was 18)

all were over priced, junk, or just needed too much work.

i bit the bullet, i hopped on over to mustanggt.org and made a thread in the classifieds. 2 days later i got a response. a week later i met up with the guy that responded. that same day, i drove home in my new mustang [8D]

i only had 2 limitations, had to be a 5.0 and had to be an auto (ya.. ya...)

i lucked out though man. what were the odds of me finding a mustang that i wanted, localy.. on a national forum? the guy didnt even want to sell it to me but he did anyway, for alot less than we even agreed on (hey i know how to bargain what can i say heh)

Just go into google and search "mustang forums". Sign up for all of them and post up threads in the wanted sections and just tell them to send emails and dont reply back. Thats what I would do. And also, check out cars.com, autotrader.com, ebay, etc. And make sure you check the paper too.
