My 90' 5.0 notch has the center console but with no armerest iv'e never seen an 87-93 fox without one, anyone know what went wron? or were these factory delete option?

they have a piece of plastic that replaces it. an armrest delete thing.

Yhea i noticed that piece it does look like it pops off but i wasn't too sure, what was the purpose of deleting the armrest though?

i dont know. "weight reduction" i like my armrest.

The armerest comes in handy i think i'll swap one in.

The armrests on the 87-93 Stangs are often missing due to breakage. There is a console armrest delete kit that is available as an option to consider instead of tracking down the original missing parts. I have several extra armrest consoles and components...if you are interested let me know what you need.

I have that delete panel piece(came with it), i don't know sounds pretty rare i might just leave it like that, thanks anyway.

Anyone have the diagram for installation? Mine was out, and I swear I've tried every combo and can't get the thing in right...about to throw a wrench!!

I read that in 1990 they stopped putting them in...maybe for only that year, buts thats what i read. Mine didnt have one when i got it either
