I didn't catch first part of the show today. Why did they scrap the stock axle?

Personally I like the build up so far and gives me close to accurate numbers since I've got same mods right now. They are also doing what i'm planning on doing next like i'm sure many other 5.0 owners are.

Now is the top end kit the heads, cam, and intake, or just the heads and intake?

Ok thats cool. Im not sure whether I should do that this winter, or swap out the 302 for a 351 . Yeah baby! The 351 will probably be the better idea for now b/c its cheaper, and then later on I can put the Trick Flow kit on the 351.

thats my plan you have to get the Trickflow heads with the larger head bolt holes, and a special 351 lower intake.
summit has em. you could also get the ones for the 351, put a bushing kit in and run on your 302 for a while.

btw: you can get stock 351W short block ( which is plenty strong ) for about $750.
