Did you lay that rubber just from a standstill and punching the gas or did you use the brake? Hopefully I'll be able to do that after I get the 3.90s! Beautiful car by the way! That bra is going to do more harm to your paint than good IMO.

To answer all your questions, springs are stock. I will let you know about the scoop when I get it to work and look good. Yes, I am keeping the scoop black. Originally it was to be red but I painted it and had a bad chemical reaction. So I went with satin black like the late 60's/70's scoops. I know, I know the bra looks kinda [:'(], but honestly it looks way worse with it off. Reason being, there is a really, really bad spot where the paint has flaked off in a few places and i tried to touch it up but didn`t turn out good. Almost looks as if it had a dent and thin bondo came out or the paint was real thick? Did I mention it is really bad, lol! I have another hood but I am waiting to paint the car with a 79-82 GT front clip when I find one and do it all at once. The paint was really faded badly and I sprayed it with clear "poof cans" to make it shine, can you tell? Thanks for all the kind words and ohh, ya I held the brake for a min. to get them spinning then let off. It is an auto and hooks pretty good so I have to do it that way.
