Default NOS question

Cool thanks for the info, I got another question though, I got 135000 miles on my car, should I rebuild before any major mods, ie NOS, Supercharger etc. Or how about minor mods like headers, intake, chip etc?

Do a compression check on your motor.

If it's healthy, start it off around 50 or so and wean your way up to 75.

You'll need a rebuild much quicker with major mods, and with minor mods, don't bother witha rebuild.

You will be very disapointed with only a 50 shot. I started with 75 on my 5.0 and I was yawning. Your motor can handle much more than that. Assuming your motor is in good shape it should handle 125/150 ok. Detonation will kill any engine regardless if it's stock or not. For upgrades focus on your fuel system. Make sure your pump can handle the increase in power. Next work on exhaust. N20 gets the air in, better heads and free flowing exhaust will help get it out.
