Correct me if i'm mistaken, but i'm pretty sure thats simply doing some mild boring of the cylanders. .040 over stock size.

the only differance is the bore, and any extra HP over 4 cubic inches will be lost due to extra friction and heat

a 306 is nothing more than a 302 bored and honed to a finshed size of 4.030

IMO its not worth it to tear your motor apart to build a 306... if your going to do that you mind as well just stroke it!

I doubt the sentiment here is anyones tearing apart anything to bore and hone 30 thou, if your already in the rebuilding mode this is what you will end up with. Trick used a worn 302, did the machine work and thats what they used for testing.

You get achieve very low numbers w/ a 302 if everything is matched correctly.
