well i saw something about taking off and gutting the cats. i have a 95 gt and im wondering how hard are the cats to get off, how do you "gut them" and what kind of sound does this produce (loud low or more of a tinny sound) thanks for input!

Honestly, it would be easier to just buy and off road H, but you will have to drop the h off your car, punch out the cats with a pipe or prybar. It will sound louder. If you have emissions, it wont help you out.

thanks for reply. issue is im poor. that means no new parts. im not worried about emissions at all though

You can punch em out, but I would just wait till you can get a new one...I got a flow tech of road H 2.5 inch from summit for like 140 bucks and it workd great.

well im pondering going out and doing this right now is it like an all day job?

use lot of penitrating lube...it isn't too bad if you can get the bolts loose. I don't think you will be all that happy, but good luck. Just don't hurry.
