Should I check it out?

Should I check it out?
Hey guys. I know this isn't for a 5.0 mustang, but its indirectly related. When I was cruisin with my girlfriend today I passed two mustangs sitting in a driveway, they both looked like they were 65 or 66 cooupes, in decent/restorable condition. I really want to stop by the house this weekend and see if they want me to take one (or both) off of their hands for very little money lol. My question is do you guys think I should get a classic and restore it too, or put the money into my 5.0 As some of you know im 17 and have a very small budget but I freakin love the 60s style stangs. If i did get it Id probably drop a 5.0 into it anyway if the motor was shot. So..... get a third project to fiddle with, but absolutely love, or just keep the 5oh and put some cash into her? Help me decide please fellas

RE: Should I check it out?
If they had 2 I doubt it. Most likely one is going to be used as a parts car to restore the other one. I tried buying a maverik that was sitting in this guys backyard for at least 2 years. He said its going to stay there and rot, not sure what his problem was but he definitly didn't want to let it go.

Yeah, but both of them looked like they were in decent condition at least, so they wouldnt scrap a perfectly good stang to make one look a little better. at least I hope they wouldn't!!!

If they are in good condition I doubt they want to get rid of them then. They probably just don't have anyway to store them garaged somewhere. Theres cars like that all over where I live.

Money is everything! If you are satisfied with your stang already and you have the extra cash laying around, I would say go for it! I have a stang and I love putting all my money into it, but if I had extra money laying around I would love to buy another car to put money into.
best of luck!

RE: Should I check it out?
I drove by this house close to where I live and noticed an old Mustang out in a field by the house that the grass was growing up all around and it. I decided to stop in and see if they might sell it for cheap. An older lady came to the door and told me it was her grandson's car and that he was in California. She wouldn't give me his phone number or anything so I asked her when he may be coming back to Arkansas so I could talk to him. She told me "Come back in about a year." lol

Oh thats crappy, the floor would be rotted out in another year! The other way I look at it is that its value will keep increasing as the years go on since its a classic, you know?
