one more thing afr springs unless upgraded will not hold 6k without issues...
second mustang and fast fords did there test and got 394hp...with a built motor, and cam....so carcraft knows something that they don't.......

honestly i do not have the answer, but i do question it....increased lift does not change timing events duration or centerline.
it just allows the valves to open more.

I do agree that a rocker swap would not magicaly permit the springs to seat properly at a higher RPM. I am not sure where that added rpm came from?

^ yah, the higher ratio rockers make it into a bigger cam(higher peak power), for the most part. I think they explain that in the article. The only reason stock cams run out of rpms, Is because the air cant move fast enough because of the shorter duration, And also you have to take into account the giant valves in those heads. They help too.

I think it is a very accurate build & represents pretty real numbers. Here's why.....
I have a simiar combo & it made 321 rwhp. With a 17% drivetrain loss; it equates to 386.75 flywheel hp. Add into the fact of my having a full exhaust & acessories.....400 horsepower is a very realistic possibility under thier build conditions....IMHO

yeah that was 400hp at the crank with no accessories to turn and on a dyno stand.
with a real world set-up, alternator, water-pump, little restriction on intake, regular headers and exhaust
I would expect you to make around 380-400 crank hp, with AFR 165's and a good cam.
and put down right at 300rwhp, maybe a tad more.
AFR 165's cost about 1,200-1,350 depending on where you buy.
www.dndmotorsports.com has them for best price I've seen

I'm sure alot of you have seen this. http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/116_0307_ford/
what power gains would i be expecting with a F/I setup, with those heads, and a trick flow U/L intake, TB, MAF, and the rest of my setup?

well this makes me want to go out and just buy some 165s... how easy are heads? ive heard they can be done easily in a weekend. my boss claims he used to swap heads in a matter of hours, after plenty of practice.
