Default Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Tire

I am getting back into the Fox body game and was wondering if a Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Tire 26' x 10.5' - 15'LT will fit on a stock width rear. Also what backspacing would the 15" rim need. I was going to go with drag radials but said what the He**.

Thanks,
Tom

how are you getting 1.5 60 ft times?
what kind of tires do you run rsw007?

I used the mickey thompson drag radial 235-60-15 on the stock rim and could get only a 1.7 60 ft time.

I have the ET Street bias ply 26x10.5x15 on a weld wheel 8in wide with 4 1/2 inch backspacing. Fits easily on my 86 gt, and fits fine on a 92 gt as well.

Ok,

I thought the back space was 5.5", thanks for the info.

I just needed the tire size...but the car runs 13.4@104 with 1.9 60's on a street tire with a PI convertor and an AOD. This car is a toy and I am not concerned with the tires streetability.

I have a 358W sitting on an engine stand that should make just over 600hp with a 125 shot. I plan to install the 358 with a tranbrked C-4 from PA this winter.
