I just finished up my motor build and stuff and I was wondeirng if anyone would have any similar setups to mine. And even if anyone would have any ball park guesses as to what hp I'd be making to the wheels. On and off the N20

86 302 GT Block, New Hastings rings, clevite main and rod bearings.

And Pro Billet Distributor

Deleted AC & Smog pump
Electronic Fuel pump & Adjustable Regulator with water filled guage.

that carb is gonna be touchy if those heads are stock. *MIGHT* be a pig off-idle

Well I have two vaccume accumulators working off the carb to help that, and the advanced camshaft timming is HUGE so its actaully VERY responsive...

Dunno, but I think that it's overcarbed and may be a dog untill reaches 4000+ rpm. Just what is the cam anyway?

its a small motorsport cam, but I bet 100 bucks its a dog off idle. Too much cfm for those heads. Many moons ago I aquired a 285hp 302 crate motor which is nothing more than stock short with B303 cam and GT40 heads, had a 750 on it with performer rpm intake and was a total dog, put a 600 edelbrock of all things on it and it was very crisp.

i agree. carb way too big. and im not even a carb guy:D no more than 650 though.

WELL I RAN A 750 EDELBROCK ON A 5.0 , 5 SPD WITH B CAM , STOCK INTAKE , PULLIES, HEADERS, & ETC. AND IT WAS SMOOTH & RAN GOOD.
