Are you talking about a full exhaust or just a catback?

BBK long tube headers with BBK short H-pipe with cats for the long tube bbk headers
then Flowmaster cat back - series 40 if you want loud, series 50 for more subtle tone.

cost right at $1,000 for everything

There not legal here in cali so just go with his setup but with equal length shorties. I'm assuming you want a legal exhaust system right?

Pypes has some nice and cost effective systems. I have the Violator system which is somewhat tunable and very nice. Get an H-Pipe for the deeper bellowy sound.
