Default PLEASE HELP?

I need people's help. I have an 87 where the speedometer went up to 85mph. On ebay, I recently bought a speedo that goes up to 140. However, the mileage is off by about 70,000 miles. Is there anyway that I can change the mileage myself without doing it manually by every mile, that would take forever to do. Thanks guys.

You can take it apart and spin the odometer to the number you like...PITA, but works.

i tried the power drill, it somewhat works, just scratches up the #'s. i have it all apart, but there's these bars to keep you from turning back the miles. should i take it to a shop and let them bother with it? i'd like to do it myself, there are these little pins that hold the #'s in place, maybe there's a way to get them out. I DON'T KNOW! it's really pi$$ing me off. any other suggestions?
