are you running rich? my car has a problem similar to that but I'm running rich for the turbo. The engine seems to get flooded if my car is off and on, off and on, etc. Or if I'm hard on it and then turn it off (after a cool down period of course) and try to turn it back on in less then 2 minutes it struggles to kick over.
Other things you may want to look into, is maybe your starter is getting weak.

I get the same deal sometimes, these 42lb injectors run richer than a *****. Somtimes when driving around in third just cruising it boggs and chokes for a second. Also at times when I get on it a bit and park it then try to start it it wont, it'll just crank and crank. Like if it was flooded.

89stang I sent you a reply to your e-mail. But I'll ask you here too.
What setup do you have? (i.e. motor mods, bolt-ons, power adders). What injectors do you have? Do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

I was told this could be the TFI Module. When they get pretty hot the car has trouble starting. And when I get my car to start after a good long drive it usually takes 2 minutes for the idle to straighten out. Just my 2 cents

TPS, TPS, TPS.......................
Start here and eliminate all these components, but its more than likely your tps going out and the heat causing the voltage to get too high or too low.
