Do you mean that having the car as a DD wears the gears and posi in more? I can't figure out if you mean "wear" in a good or bad way. Of course, when you install the gears, posi, or whatever else you do to the rear end you have to break it in, but I don't think the gears "wear" in a bad way.

I am not sure but I have never heard of gears being "worn" out

Exhaust is always nice but if you want the best bang for the buck its the gears BY FAR.

sounds like it not even a choice but a must, so i will be going with gears.

P.S going 70 in 5th and only 1800 rpm sucks.

before you change your gears go to the track and see how much faster it is when you get them done
