Engine Update!
I finally got my AFR 185s in last week and got to bolt them on this week and also got to mock up the intake and valve covers. I got the balancer installed also but not a pic of it.
I was going to actually bolt on the intake tonight but forgot I diodn't get any bolts.....
A couple more weeks and she may be up and running.

Very clean motor man... I kinda cant wait to do my 351... I'm going with a black painted block. I think it'll look good in my engine bay... That red will look hot once you get it in their and all set up. BTW are you going to be using steel braided hoses for your install... I think you should!

RE: Engine Update!
The intake rpm range I am thinking 2000-6000 or 2500-6500. But on a different note watch the intake man it is a bitch to get sealed up. I have the same one myself and the face on the t/b mounting surface is not a flat surface. Pay special attention where the 2 havles come together. I had to bolt the intake down and the true the face up also dont be affraid to use ultra black rtv on it you will need it also. With all that being said it is a good intake I like mine pretty good. The only thing that scares me is when the engine gets to temp and at idle you can snap the throttle and see the top of the intake flex. But its kinda cool at the same time.

Oh, and I swapped my springs without any problems, too. I think it was you that said you had some problems with the retainers and locators not being the right diameter? Well the springs I bought that are recommended for the cam are the same size as the AFR ones.

Thanks for the compliments, also, guys. I can't wait to get her in. I have a lot of work yet to do. Fuel pump, wire it for mass air, etc...I'm still driving the car every day and going to button a few things up today on the engine and I think I'm running out of things to do until I start the swap.
