slipping clutch
Got a problem, I have a stock 95 GT, I just got done replacing the throw out bearing. The clutch looked fine, but the bearing was shot. I replaced it with a new one, and now my clutch slips until my pedal is almost all the way released. Is there an adjustment I can make with the cable, or is there something else I can do? Thanks

RE: slipping clutch
hmmm... there is that adjustment that you make by pulling the clutch peddal all the way UP. this is supposed to readjust the quadrant. you can purchase an aftermarket, adjustable cable but i cant say that will help unless i took a look at the car. does the clutch slip alot? does it engage high? can you be more spacific? When replacing the throw bearing it is common to lubricate the shaft with grease. Over greasing can cause the grease to get on the clutch disc or flywheel and thus glazing the surface. this can cause a slippage concern.
