I said I would get back about the GT40 intake issue. It fits fine with the stock hood but not even close with the 1" spacer in it. What do you guys think, is the spacer worth the extra money to buy a cowl hood? I love the 2.5" cowl hoods, but it's not worth the extra $$ for a tiny power gain. And this way I can keep the sleeper look! [sm=smiley20.gif] Even though it's no where near the sleeper sound![sm=gears.gif]

spacers provide minimal gains, i say ditch the spacer.

don't even bother, they don't even keep it from heating up really.

it'll still get hot, and then you have longer runners to boot.
