No need to get defensive... You wont really see any gains from doing it, I thought maybe you were trying to build a drag car... You need a certain box to run at the track, you cant just get any plastic box you see... Good luck with the car wither way

I wasn't getting defensive, well maybe a little, Its just I was really proud of it and everything. Thought I would get a couple pats on the back, not told to go lay down by my dish.
Thanks for the tip though.

Ya, a Red-Green thing. You remember that guy? Anyway, You should see some of stuff people rig up back home in UPPER Michigan. No Emmissions, just big tires and straight pipes. Everything rusts away cause of the salt on the roads in the winter, lots of cars held together by paint, using kegs as gastanks and crap like that.

We are in Texas now actually (El Paso). Wife got transferred to Army Base Here. There are alot of 'buckets' but they would be rusty-buckets up north. I can't believe how clean the old cars are around here. I looked at a 69 stang today that had a tiny bit of surface rust, wouldn't find anything like that back home, plus nobody likes rear wheel drive up there anyway.

More weight over back wheels
Want to put 1kw inverter in trunk, maybe some other peripherals
Most important: engine compartment less cluttered, I could put a twelve pack in there. Easier to get at wiring harnesses, pulleys, headlights, etc.
