the cowl is pretty played out on alot of mustangs ive noticed, and on trucks also, so i want to be different. i like the hood that 5.0 mpg and black snake have on their cars, its the march 1 with svo scoops or something i believe, but i cant find any place that sells it? i want atleast a 2" rise bigger if possible? and functional like theirs also.

I believe that both of them have the Stormin Normin hood from Cervinis.. Hope that helped

look for a raim air style hood, or the mach 1.... but definitly try cervinis

I don't really like too many aftermarket hoods other then cowls... The reason Cowl hoods are kinda played out is because they look good...lol... I may be biased because I have one, but I don't think Fox's dont look good with newer style/designed hood... I do like the Cobra R hoods that have 2 seperate rises, so they look like a cowl, but no funky stuff on the top... Cowls are functional, but all they do is let heat out of the engine compartment??

No they dont. They either have the Mach 1 or the Stormin normin from cervinis. (look the same) How can you say that the cowl is played out and that you want to get a mach 1 hood? Everyone and their dog has a mach 1 hood. Well anyway, you can get them lots of places. I just bought a hood from ebay and i know they sell them on there.

well yea i know the cowl is functional if you get one that is, but im just saying around here cowls are played out. i have yet to see a hood like 5.0 mpg's or black snakes down here and their the only 2 people on the forum ive seen with that hood. i can name about 10+ people that have cowls on here.
