fox and sn95 5.0 differences??
im planning on buying a 5.0 liter mustang in the next few months. at first i liked the fox just because of its cheapness to maintain and modify. however, lately the sn95s have caught my eye. now i know there are differences between the two different versions' 5.0 engines. but my main question is, are engine parts for the fox 5.0 interchangeable with the sn's 5.0?

RE: fox and sn95 5.0 differences??
there are subtle differences, but mechanically they are basically "the same." 93+ used hypereutectic pistons instead of forged, 94-95 used a different computer that sometimes reacts adversly to mods, but can be fixed w/ a good dyno tune or twEECer...stuff like that.
Like ikey said the intakes are different due to the slope of the hood on the SN's. Fox intakes will work on them, though, you just need to buy an elbow adapter. the TB's will be the same if you change intakes, but the MAF uses a flange, which is different than foxes, but that may can be changed as well. SN's are a little heavier, but they are also on a wider track and have better chassis reinforcement.
Either is a good choice and mods are pretty much the same for both.....

i think almost everything is interchangeable except the upper intakes and throttle bodies
