Default whats better

what is better, i own a 95 mustang cobra SVT and it has the 302 in it. proople have been telling me that i should put a 347 stroker in it, but i wana put a supercharger on it. and what i wana do is make it a 351. what is better. here is the suppercharger that im going to put on it.

ummm someone correct me if im wrong, but i dont think you can bore and stroke a 302 to a 351. if you really want a 351 you should either buy a 351 crate or a 347 and bore it over.

the most you can get from a 302 is a 347. they dont make a bigger kit. a 351 is a 351. a whole new motor. which would be the better choice.

yeah you would need to get a 351 which would be a lot more reliable then a 302 bored to a 347.

you sure?? i think it is possible to bore it out that much, but it wont run for long. the cylinder walls have to be thicker or they will melt from the heat. even if there is a kit, i can guarentee its not safe, especially if youre going to boost it.

If you're wanting power out of it, go w/ a 351 block. The stock 302 block is only good to between 450-500 hp, depending on tune and such.

I'm guessing the 302-->351 stroker you're talking about is .040 over? I don't think you can safely bore them over more than that.....

na the engine when they made it the engine was a 351 block but they made it a 302 i dont know y but they did
