Default track times...very very dissapointed

i am completely unhappy.

first off, my '89 notch was equipped about exactly the same as my '93 and went 13.20 on motor , 12.52 on 75 shot n2o

'89 = mac lt's, flows catback 2 1/2", mac O/R h-pipe, southside bars, air bagged rt side, cold air induction, 4.10's , Et street bias ply, 190 fp, smog and AC delete, skinny fronts (convo pro) and the car was all manual accessories (not steering....windows and such) 75 shot NOS 5115 dry kit, msd 6al,

'93 = mac lt's ,mac prochamber, mac catback 2 1/2" , stock conrol arms , 4.10's , et street radials, smog delete, reg pony wheels, power everything, 80 shot NOS 5115 dry kit, eibach lowering springs.

now, the big diff is in suspension , but i was still cutting 1.8 60 foots, so that doesn't make sense.
the weight diff cannot be that much considering.
the few minimal mods cannot make that much diff.

times on the '93...........yesterday

NA = 1.87 60'
= 14.02 @ 97.59

80 shot = 1.83 60'
= 13.15 @ 105.50

the et and mph made the changes it should have for 80 shot...but the base time of 14.02 ????? thats 7 tenths slower than my old car.
i can't even account for 7 tenths collectively w/ weight, power acc's, mods etc.

i can't figure out whats up.

yeah it runs great. only thing i've been wondering is the fuel system.

it smells super phat, but fp at idle is 32 psi (vac on) it's possible i have a something casuing a really rich condition, and robbing power, i don't know. that along w/ the other nickle / dime bs ....maybe add up to 7 tenths.

i don't squirt more than 100, thats why i go dry.

i don't want to have issues w/ puddling, i squirt out of the hole.

can't see how wet would would be easier on the motor.....they both accomplish the same thing, just supply fuel in a different way, and i rather have the extra fuel through the injectors, than through my upper intake.

well what was the weather like? track conditions? that can be 2-5 tenths..check you fuel curve and remember no 2 cars act the same..

Yep, thats very true, I've seen density altitude change by 2000' in 30 minutes...
Each 1000' would kill a tenth...
Strip not being preeped could be 3-4 tenths even with that car......
