Default few questions

ok got a lil bit of money. ok i don't have the money for some new rims to put bigger rims on my car but i want some better tires for it to hook up.

what size will fit on the stock 95 gt rim its a 16x7 or 8 if i remember right.

2nd: i need a intake spacer to clear my vavle covers with my trickflow track heat intake what size should i get and still clear my stock hood? 3/8? or 1inch?

3rd: will some 50/50 help out much in the rear?

Probably 235-245's for tires, Yokohamas or toyo proxes. Not 100% sure on the last 2 questions.

1--245/50r16's are a little wider than stock. You could go 255's if they're 16x8's.
2--I've got a 1" and it BARELY squeezes under the stock hood w/ my street heat and tall FRPP valve covers. BTW, if you have tall covers, you may have to cut down your throttle linkage a little.
3--Do you still have your quad shocks? If so, lose them and get some quality U/L control arms and your traction will improve greatly. It also depends on the tire. cheapo tire==cheapo traction. An aftermarket suspension setup will only help you, but you need to do it together...springs and shocks/struts, not one or the other.

i think one of the best gripping cheapest tires for the size is the Nitto Drag radials, for my 275/40-17s they're only $145 a tire right now... any sticky tire will give u some good traction, for another cheap tire that ive heard tons of great things about is the Kumho Ecsta MX, great lookin tire and very cheap, and performs amazing.

Nittos wear very quickly (months). BFGs are great tires but i have been using Cooper Zeons (245/50s on a 16x7)and they hookup nicely

Nittos have the longest lasting drag radial... for the most part u trade grip for tire wear, softer tires provide better traction...
